Description
The Defense Contracting Services Office - Fort Belvoir (DCSO-F1) is currently conducting market research seeking capabilities statements from potential.� DCSO-F1 is seeking sources on behalf of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Directorate, Safety and Occupational Health (DCS) at Fort Belvoir with the capability to supply industrial hygiene equipment for the DLA Industrial Hygienist to perform initial health hazard assessments of industrial and administrative DLA work site.� The industrial hygienist within DLA is required to perform initial assessment of operations with noise using personal noise dosimeters shall meet or exceed specifications in American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Standard S1.25 (R2017) for all noise producing areas and equipment.� The acoustical calibrator must comply with ANSI Standard S1.40 and be accurate to within plus or minus 1 decibel (dB). Currently, the industrial hygienist is not equipped with this instrumentation.� A list of the required Industrial Hygiene Equipment is attached.� The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the future acquisition is 334519 - Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing with a size standard of 500. DSCO-F1 is NOT requesting a proposal in response to this RFI. It is the policy of the Government to provide maximum practicable opportunities in its acquisitions to small business, veteran-owned small business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, HUBZone small business, small disadvantaged business, and women-owned small business concerns. All interested parties are encouraged to submit capabilities statement addressing each item identified in the attached spreadsheet. Interested sources who believe they can meet these requirements should provide a statement of capabilities that clearly identify the items and/or equivalent items. If identifying equivalent items, please provide specifications.� All equipment listed within the capability statement shall indicate whether or not it meets the designated ANSI standards and indicate if the equipment identified meets the initial calibration performed by the manufacturer.� If equivalent industrial hygiene equipment is listed within the capability statement, you must provide the specifications and indicate if the equipment meets the initial calibration performed by the manufacturer and ANSI standards.�� In addition to the above, the capability statement must include: 1. Company name, address, point of contact name, phone number, and email address. 2. Business Size and status of your company 3. Contractor and Government Entity (CAGE) Code. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. Interested sources are requested to review the attached spreadsheet. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation of the capability statements received. No solicitation exists at this time; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation is released, it will be posted at the Beta.Sam website. It is the potential offeror's responsibility to monitor the Beta.Sam website for the release of any synopsis or solicitation that may result from this market research. Information collected through this announcement will be reviewed by individuals from the DCSO-F1 and DLA Installation Support. Capability statements shall be limited to no more than seven pages and sent directly to both Beverly J. Williams (beverly.j.williams@dla.mil) no later than 12:00pm on Wednesday, December 29, 2021.
