Description

This Amendment 8�to the FENS SIR corrects a typographical error (from �data throughout� to �data throughput�) in one of the Section M evaluation criteria under Element 1.4. The corresponding language in Section L is not changed because it was correct in the original version of the Section L when the original FENS SIR was released on September 18, 2020. Section L instructed offerors to �Describe how your proposed EBP solution meets the requirements in FFPS Sections 8.5.1 and 8.5.2 and supports current and future usage demands with respect to the number of connections and data throughput.� Instructions: Because the language was correct in the proposal submission instructions (Section L) in the original SIR release, the FAA does not expect that correcting the typo in Section M will impact offeror proposals. Notwithstanding, the FAA is allowing offerors to submit a revised proposal if necessary as a result of SIR Amendment 8. Any offeror submitting a revised proposal in response to SIR Amendment 8 must provide an explanation of how the revision is directly related to the correction of the typo. Offerors will be advised by the FENS CO if any proposal revisions submitted in response to SIR Amendment 8 are deemed by the Government to be not directly related to the amendment. Any proposal revisions submitted in response to Amendment 8 that are deemed by the Government to be not directly related to the amendment will not be evaluated. Offerors that do not need to revise their proposals as a result of this amendment must inform the FENS Contracting Officer at 9-AJW-FENSInfo@faa.gov no later than 5:00pm Eastern Standard Time on December 16, 2021 that no proposal revisions are needed.
