- 2022 Air Force Cyberspace and Crypto Independent Research & Development (IR&D) Technology Interchange Meeting (TIM) 02 � 06 May 2022 Solicitation Number: AFRL-2021-4336 Agency: Department of the Air Force Office: Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) During the week of 2-6 May 2022, the Air Force�s Cyberspace Superiority Mission Area together with the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center�s (AFLCMC�s) Crypto/Cyber Systems Division plan to co-sponsor the 2022 Cyberspace and Crypto Independent Research & Development (IR&D) Technology Interchange Meeting (TIM).� This will be a classified event and will likely be held at Kelly Field, Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA), TX.� This invitation is open to all industry IR&D participants, including large corporations, medium-sized, and small businesses, as well as, academia, National Labs and FFRDCs. This engagement has broad goals to increase awareness, stimulate collaboration, and seek alignment between industry�s IR&D innovation investments and the Air Force�s high-priority science and technology needs and corresponding acquisition and sustainment roadmaps.� Leading Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from Air Combat Command (ACC), AFLCMC, the 16th Air Force at JBSA, the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), Air Force Futures (formerly AF Warfighting Integrating Capability Office) and the Cyberspace Research Center at the AF Institute of Technology (AFIT) are expected to participate.� This year we could also see SMEs from the National Security Agency and other non-DoD agencies, partnering to meet national cyberspace strategies in unison. The Cyberspace and Crypto taxonomies are high priority areas of interest being looked at to enrich our S&T and acquisition roadmaps, as well as to expand our lenses in the related focus areas of your IR&D portfolios and corporate investments. Please note:� Only one announcement is anticipated on SAM.gov.� The data presented in this announcement, as well as�any further details or updates to this event, will only be made available on the Defense Innovation Marketplace website (https://defenseinnovationmarketplace.dtic.mil/technology-interchange-meetings/2022-airforce-cyberspace-crypto/). Participation Interest Interested parties must send an email stating their expression of interest AND a copy of their company�s certified DD2345 (Military Critical Technical Data Agreement) to the�Cyberspace/Crypto Email In-Box (dtic.belvoir.ecm.list.cyber@mail.mil).� Once received, the IR&D Planning Team will provide (via DoD SAFE) the detailed focus areas and further instructions on how to nominate your IR&D projects and corporate investments.� Please note the focus areas are marked Distribution D and will not be distributed without a certified DD2345.� For information and access to the form please go here (https://www.dla.mil/HQ/LogisticsOperations/Services/JCP.aspx). The government is not obligated to enter into a contract with any entity as a result of IR&D collaborations from our dialogue. Data exchanges, as a result of these dialogue activities, follow restrictions of No Foreign Nationals (NOFORN) and International Traffic Arms Regulations (ITAR), and export control restrictions in accordance with Department of Defense Instruction 5230.24, Department of Defense Directive 5230.25, the Arms Export Control Act (Title 22, U.S.C., Sec 2751, et seq.), and/or the Export Administration Act of 1979 (Title 50, U.S.C., App. 2401 et seq.), as amended. Government technical support contractors may be a part of the team of SMEs at the event; therefore, company-to-company Non-Disclosure Agreements may be necessary. All unclassified company Proprietary Data and Intellectual Property will be treated as Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) [formerly For Official Use Only]. Some information we intend to share may be classified or unclassified and will not be approved for unlimited public release.
