NO FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE TO PAY FOR PREPARATION OF RESPONSES TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. ANY INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY RESPONDENTS TO THIS TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION IS STRICTLY VOLUNTARY. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources capable of providing the services described below.� The Rhode Island Air National Guard (RIANG) North Kingstown, Rhode Island requires services for moving office furniture and medical equipment from 1 Hercules Drive, North Kingstown, RI 02852 to 60 Romano Vineyard Way, North Kingstown, RI 02852. �A draft list of the items to be moved is included as Attachment 1 to this notice. �Office furniture such as desks will be emptied of all contents by the Government prior to the move; cubicles will be disassembled by the Government prior to the move; and all small items will be packaged in standard size moving boxes by the Government prior to the move. �Items to be moved will not require transport up or down any stairs at either location. � Please note that some of the medical equipment listed in Attachment 1 may require pre-move preparation servicing. �If this specialized experience is something your company is capable of providing, it is highly encouraged it be documented in your response to this sources sought. � This requirement is to provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and supervision necessary to accomplish the transport, and delivery of the listed items. The contractor shall also provide all consumable and non-consumable moving supplies such as moving blankets and pads, furniture covers, hand trucks, moving dollies, tie downs, ratchet straps, carpet shields/floor runners, etc. It is anticipated that the requirement will be issued on a firm fixed price basis, with performance estimated to begin in the February 2022 timeframe; period of performance is estimated to be four (4) days. Submission Instructions: Documentation of applicable expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. Completion and submission of Attachment 2, Sources Sought Information Request Form shall suffice as a response to this notice. � The Government will also accept a capability statement, submitted in addition to Attachment 2. �The capability statement shall not exceed five (5) pages and should demonstrate the company�s ability to perform the requirements described herein. �Include any specialized experience with pre-move preparation servicing of medical equipment in your response, as applicable. �� Questions and comments are highly encouraged. Any response to this Sources Sought Notice from interested parties must be received NLT 11:59PM EST on December 16, 2021 by email to Kaitlin Simoes, Kaitlin.l.simoes.civ@army.mil. � � Questions & Answers:� Question 1: Has a site visit date already been determined? Answer 1: No; but if one is required the Government will specify the date in the RFQ, once posted. � Question 2: If this proceeds to a solicitation, do you have an anticipated posting date? Answer 2: Anticipate posting in the January 2022 timeframe.� Question 3: What is your questions submittal deadline date and time? Answer 3: The Government may extend the sources sought end date if needed, but in the meantime, cutoff for Questions is currently midnight on December 15th. �
