Description

The Government is performing market research to determine feasibility of contracting for various energy generation technologies for the purpose of providing resilience to Hill Air Force Base.� The Government is specifically interested in gaining a better understanding of technology, capacity, economics, and integration of 25-35 megawatt (MW) of additional onsite generation.� The energy generated would provide continuously available, primary power to Hill and must be capable of operating in an islanded mode and integrating with existing generation sources in the event of a utility grid outage.� Installation electrical distribution system is privatized (City Light and Power (CLP)) and any generation system would need to interconnect and integrate with this privatized system.
