Description

The 502d Contracting Squadron, 395 B Street West Suite 2, Joint Base San Antonio- Randolph TX 78150, intends to award a sole source firm-fixed-price purchase order to Shelton-Keller Group, Inc (SKG) for moving, disassembling, relocation, reconfiguration, and reassembly of existing equipment/furnishings within the 3100 and 3200 areas of the HQ IMCOM campus (Buildings 2261).� In addition, requirement also includes procurement of stand-alone office furniture when needed and modular furniture replacement parts. The action will be executed under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), that states (in part) �Contracting Officers may solicit from one source if the Contracting Officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available��. The nature of the sole source is that the contractor will add to existing Knoll Modular Systems furniture inventory and that is imperative that it maintain compatibility with the existing furniture for future adjustments.� SKG is the only authorized dealer and installer of Knoll modular furniture in this local area of Texas. This notice of intent is NOT a request for quote or proposal.
