- NOTICE TO PROSPECTIVE VENDORS: This is a notice to find interested vendors only. We are not looking for proposals or submissions for quotes. Please notify the POC on this listing if you are interested in this contract opportunity. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This request for information does not commit the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Engineering Support Center, Huntsville AL (CEHNC) to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, CEHNC is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Vendors are advised that CEHNC will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested partys expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor CEHNC sources for additional information. NOTICE TO PROSPECTIVE VENDORS: This is a notice to find interested vendors only. We are not looking for proposals or submissions for quotes. Please notify the POC on this listing if you are interested in this contract opportunity. Objectives: The objectives of the RFI are to provide Installation Support and Programs Management (ISPM) - Project Manager Training Services. Project Manager training will focus on effective communication, team building and interaction, technical knowledge, awareness and understanding based on an enterprise-wide approach that supports comprehensive management and execution of projects according to USACE Project Delivery Business Process (PDBP) to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville, Alabama. The training will cover a breadth of project management topics which include a mix of soft-skills and technical training. Most topics will speak broadly to the general practice of project management. Ultimately, the course material will be divided into approximately 13 training modules. In addition to training development, the scope also includes a revision to the Huntsville Center PM Handbook and the live delivery of an online course that covers all the training developed by the contractor. All effort under this contract will be divided into a base scope and one option. The training topics are included in Attachment A. Ultimately, the final product will be used by Government instructors to provide training either in a classroom or in a virtual environment. The purpose of the training is to provide practical skills to early-to-mid career PMs, leading to a more proficient, efficient, and effective PM workforce. Background: The ISPM Directorate has six Divisions with approximately 180 project and program managers overall, responsible for the execution of ~30 Programs and over $2 billion in obligations annually in various goods and services in support of the Army and Department of Defense stakeholders worldwide. Work includes the management of contracts that provide a wide variety of installation support services (medical outfitting, base operations, fuels storage, utility monitoring, electronic security, facility planning, furniture ordering, utility and energy services, and high-performance computing) and minor construction (facility design, sustainment, restoration, and modernization and demolition). While each program is unique, there is broad overlap among project management methods and practices. Because of the incredible variety of programs managed by the organization, there is a need to develop training around a core body of knowledge to perpetuate common, practical project management skills. This will maintain professional competence, optimize flexibility, and mitigate the risk of over-specialization within each program. Additional Information: At USACE, two specific programs are utilized in PM daily functions. Any experience or knowledge with Corps Engineers Financial Management System (CEFMS) and PROMIS Portal (P2) is highly sought. Lack of knowledge in these programs will NOT disqualify you for consideration. However, the contractor selected will be briefed on these programs and how they are used in PM duties. NOTICE TO PROSPECTIVE VENDORS: This is a notice to find interested vendors only. We are not looking for proposals or submissions for quotes. Please notify the POC on this listing if you are interested in this contract opportunity. Point of Contact Information: James E.
