- Sources Sought Notice Social Media Account Management This Sources Sought Notice is not a Request for Proposal and does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The Government is currently conducting market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10, to identify potential sources to fulfill the requirement and gather information on current capabilities of businesses within the market. All information submitted in response to the Sources Sought Notice is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. Proprietary information submitted should be marked appropriately. All submitted information shall remain with the U.S. Government and will not be returned.� The Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Acquisition and Grants Office (AGO), Eastern Acquisition Division (EAD), on behalf of the Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO), and NOAA Commissioned Officer Corps has a requirement for Social Media Account Management for NOAA Corps. Introduction & Background OMAO is looking to expandg their footprint on social media�s promoted posts.� Pilot programs have provided evidence that promoted posts are an effective way for OMAO to reach a large audience.� This increases public awareness and enlarges the applicant pool for the NOAA Corps.� The broadcasted information to the public will increase brand awareness and help promote diversity within the NOAA Corps and OMAO. The contractor will assist the OMAO Communication Specialist with advertisement initiatives, and provide postings on the following social media platforms Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin, and other social media platforms. The contractor shall assist the Government in the payment of social media account advertising fees, advertising planning, scheduling, and administrative and logistic coordination.� Additionally, the contract will provide Technical Support as needed.� The Government has enclosed a Draft of the Statement of Work (SOW).� The Government will accept questions regarding the SOW.� The Government will update Sources Sought Notice to include answers to any questions submitted prior to the response date and time provided in Sources Sought Notice.� Please see page 2 for point of contact information. Response Requirements Responses to this Sources Sought Notice shall submit a statement of capabilities, not to exceed ten (10) pages, encompassing the following information: Company Profile Company Name; Company Address; Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) Number; North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable and corresponding business size for the NAICS Code(s) indicated; Applicable General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Supply Schedules (FSS) and Schedule Item Numbers (SIN) (include all that apply to this requirement) Small Business Administration (SBA) certified small business concern status and/or socio-economic status (if applicable); Primary point of contact information and Secondary point of contact (Name, Title, Phone, and Email). Capability Demonstration Provide a brief, but detailed, statement, which adequately demonstrates the contractor�s capabilities to provide each of the services identified in the attached Draft SOW. �The anticipated Labor Category for the requirement is Media Assistant; however, further Contractors may provide another labor category for consideration. Government Point of Contact Company brochures will not be considered in lieu of a capability statement. Interested firms shall submit their statement of capabilities to Amy McLiverty, Contract Specialist, at Amy.L.McLiverty@noaa.gov no later than 12:00 p.m. ET on January 3, 2022. �Any questions or responses regarding this notice must be submitted to Amy McLiverty via the above email address provided.
