- This is a market survey to locate sources of supply (manufacturers or distributors) for the Mounted Family of Computer Systems (MFoCS) Dock Station, Block II Processor Unit (PU), Block II Basic Tablet, Block II Display Unit (DU) 12.1�, and Block II Basic Dock Station, in support of Force XXI Battle Command, Brigade and Below (FBCB2) / Joint Battle Command - Platform (JBC-P), listed by National Stock Number (NSN), Part Number (PN) and description below: NSN 7021-01-622-9809, PN 9800-96300-5000, MFoCS Block I Basic Dock Station. NSN 7021-01-675-8234, PN 9800-99000-0000, MFoCS Block II Intermediate PU with SAASM Install Kit. NSN 7021-01-675-7140, PN 9800-99600-0000, MFoCS Block II Basic Tablet with SAASM Install Kit. NSN 7025-01-675-8118, PN 9800-96120-0000, MFoCS Block II DU (12.1�). NSN 7035-01-675-7998, PN 9800-99300-0000, MFoCS Block II Dock Station. FBCB2 / JBC-P MFoCS Block I and Block II is a mounted family of computer systems that is responsible for distributing accurate digital Command and Control (C2) and Situational Awareness (SA) at all echelons to the platform and dismounted domains and reducing risk of fratricide.� The location data for friendly forces is collected through the Enhanced Position Location Reporting System (EPLRS) line of sight tactical radio network and Blue Force Tracker (BFT) and BFT-2 networks.� FBCB2 / JBC-P MFoCS Block I Basic Dock Station, Block II PU, Block II Tablet, Block II DU, and Block II Basic Dock Station are designed to be installed as integral components of a specified FBCB2 / JBC-P computer configuration.� First Article Test (FAT) is required for these devices and shall be performed in vehicles utilizing the FBCB2 / JBC-P networks. Technical Data Package (TDP) for manufacturing and acceptance of these devices is not available from the Government. Interested sources that are capable of furnishing these devices must send a response outlining a viable approach and describing their ability of meeting the Government requirements.� Respondents to this notice must provide enough information to demonstrate their capabilities to provide these devices.� Responses shall be submitted in writing through email to U.S. ARMY CECOM, ATTN: FCDD-ISE-GBD, Michael Toscan at michael.r.toscan.civ@army.mil.� Responses to this notice should be submitted no later than close of business December 28, 2021. Describe the qualifications of company�s engineering staff, whom have experience in the design and production of MFoCS Block I Basic Dock Station, Block II PU, Block II Tablet, Block II DU, and Block II Basic Dock Station for FBCB2 / JBC-P, or with electronic devices with similar complexity and technology. Describe company�s experience in identifying and utilizing necessary test equipment for testing MFoCS Block I Basic Dock Station, Block II PU, Block II Tablet, Block II DU, and Block II Basic Dock Station for FBCB2 / JBC-P, or for other electronic systems with similar complexity and technology. Describe company�s experience in developing or updating a Technical Data Package for MFoCS Block I Basic Dock Station, Block II PU, Block II Tablet, Block II DU, and Block II Basic Dock Station for FBCB2 / JBC-P, or for other electronic systems with similar complexity and technology. Describe company�s experience in managing obsolescence issues for MFoCS Block I Basic Dock Station, Block II PU, Block II Tablet, Block II DU, and Block II Basic Dock Station for FBCB2 / JBC-P, or for other electronic systems with similar complexity and technology. Does company utilize a Program and Assessment Tool to monitor and analyze the availability of components to allow clear and precise tracking of all obsolescence issues?� If so, please elaborate on the Program and Assessment tool(s). Describe company�s experience in identifying the alternatives for the non-availability of obsolete materials or components to mitigate obsolescence issues. Describe company�s experience in re-designing an existing hardware component from a technical data package to meet specified Form, Fit and Function requirements. Describe company�s experience in performing and completing First Article Testing (FAT) requirements for MFoCS Block I Basic Dock Station, Block II PU, Block II Tablet, Block II DU, and Block II Basic Dock Station for FBCB2 / JBC-P, or for other electronic systems with similar complexity and technology, within a specified time frame.
