- Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Assessment of Minneapolis VAMC Leadership Services Solicitation # 36C26322Q0131 Amendment Questions and Answers Question 1: In the RFQ document under Statement of work, what does this statement mean Need to include online assessment to all leaders and focus group to at least 15 percent of respondents? Answer: The original assessment needs to go to all of our leaders electronically. After the completion of the assessment, at least 15 % of the respondents need to be included in a focus group. Question 2: What is the definition of the term Focus Group ? Answer: Focus group is a small group interview format to help understand the perceptions and human factors and experiences aligned with DE&I at the Minneapolis VAHCS. This supplements the quantitative data obtained from the survey assessment. Question 3: Can the assessment be multiple-choice, descriptive answers, or any specific recommendation? Answer: The assessment should be an established tool for DE&I that has been used in healthcare settings, this could include any of the forms of questions if it is intended for this purpose and meets all other requirements. Question 4: Are the focus groups already identified, or are they based on the discretion of the contractor? Answer: Contractor driven. (Ask smoot) Question 5: Are any resources or tools provided to execute the priorities of the contract i.e. forums/websites for distribution of surveys? Answer: Email groups. Question 6: Will a breakdown be provided for the 400 personnel assigned to each of the three leadership tiers? Answer: Yes Question 7: Will the response to the assessment be presented to each leader individually or in a group setting? Answer: Group, will have ET separate from other leaders. Question 8: What is your definition of a Healthcare consulting organization? We are a consulting organization that works across industry including healthcare with multiple healthcare clients Would we be considered eligible to respond? Answer: Yes, this would be considered eligible. (Get a clearer answer from Smoot) Question 9: What is an acceptable substitute for a certified diversity professional? We have DEI SMEs on board that have years of direct experience. One is a founder of a DEI foundation and the other is a former CEO for an organization whose mission is to certify global organizations along a maturity continuum in DEI. Answer: Acceptable substitutes meet at least the minimum requirements for the CDP (Certified Diversity Professional) and have abilities to demonstrate knowledge and assessment of such. Question 10: Regarding section a. Technical Proposal, page 29, specifically, The Offeror s Business Name/Logo/Address or any other identifying type information should be contained on no more than the first page of the Offeror s proposal. To comply with this instruction, should offerors disguise our business name, for example, by using a pseudonym, in the body of our technical and pricing volumes? If so, in which volume should we explain how we are referring to ourselves? Answer: Offers must be in compliance with the requirements of the solicitation.
