Description
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Region VIII is seeking sources under a 100% small business set aside from all interested businesses that have the capability to provide the items listed below under NAICS code 423830. The small business size standard under this NAICS code is 100 employees. The solicitation will be issued electronically on the GSA Advantage Website at GSAAdvantage.gov. This Sources Sought announcement is not a solicitation document. Specific instructions on submitting a proposal will be contained in the solicitation documents to be issued on or after the date listed below. Proposed Solicitation Issue Date: Estimated 1 Jan 2022. This date is subject to change. Prospective offerors desiring to conduct business with FEMA are required to have an active registration in SAM.gov. Offerors are also required to have a DUNS number in order to conduct business with the Federal Government. Title of Project: Doosan Forklifts in support of disaster efforts in Guam, the Caribbean, Hawaii, Ponce, Puerto Rico, and Tracy, CA. Description: The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is seeking to procure one (1) new Doosan DV180 Forklift with a 40,000 lbs. lifting capacity with 72""x10""x4"" forks for Distribution Center Hawaii and one (1) new Doosan DV180 Forklift, load capacity 40,000 lbs. with 96""x10""x4"" forks for Distribution Center Tracy to replace the current forklifts that have exceeded their lifecycle. Since FEMA is tasked with responding to disasters with minimal launch time, it is always essential that FEMA has safe and clean warehouse spaces to move, load, and transport life-saving and life-sustaining disaster commodities during disaster operations. Proposals shall include all items as well as Freight-on-Board (FOB) destination delivery. AND The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is seeking to procure three (3) new Doosan 140S-7 Forklift with a 31,000 lbs. lifting capacity required to lift 25k generators housed at Distribution Center Guam, Distribution Center Caribbean, and Warehouse Ponce. Since FEMA is tasked with responding to disasters with minimal launch time, it is always essential that FEMA has the required warehouse operational equipment to move, load, and transport life-saving and life-sustaining disaster commodities during disaster operations. Proposals shall include all items as well as Freight-on-Board (FOB) destination delivery. Type of Procurement: It is anticipated that one (1) firm fixed-price contract will be awarded. Proposals will be evaluated using the evaluation factors listed in Section M of the Solicitation.� Estimated Period of Performance: 325 days from receipt of award Proposal receipt date is not known at this time.
