Description

Description of Action: This acquisition is conducted under the authority of the Multiple-Award Schedule Program (41 U.S.C. 152(3) and 40 U.S.C. 501). �This a new requirement for Birmingham VA Medical Center.� The delivery is expected to be within 6 weeks after the order is received.� This acquisition is conducted under the authority of the Multiple-Award Schedule Program (41 U.S.C. 251 and 40 U.S.C. 501).� This procurement is for a contract to replace the [VA]end of life Draeger Apollo anesthesia machines now in use at Birmingham VAMC with thirteen (13) Draeger Perseus anesthesia machines.� The Perseus is the latest and most technologically advanced anesthesia machine.� It is the only anesthesia machine on the market that is rated five (5) stars for general purpose by the Emergency Care Research Institute.
