Description

SPECIAL NOTICE -- INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE MICC-West Point intends to award a sole source contract under statutory authority 10USC 2304(c)(1),�as implemented by FAR 6.302-1: ""Only one responsible source and no other supplies / services will�satisfy the agency�s requirements."" This is not a Request for Quotes nor a Solicitation for Offers. No solicitation package will be�available. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Ealing/HYLAND OPTICAL TECHNOLOGIES,��340 El Pueblo Road, Suite E Scotts Valley, CA 95066-4945,��to�procure�HeNe laser tube, HeNe laser power supply, and HeNe laser cable manufactured, currentlyowned�Ealing/HYLAND OPTICAL TECHNOLOGIES�products�which are the only products provides combatabilty and uniform testing results across the West Point's Physics & Nuclear Engineering Educational Lab. The Applicable NAICS code is 334519,�Other measuring and controlling devices Manufacturing, the�associated size standard of less than 500 employees. The PSC is 6640, Laboratory equipment and supplies. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However,�any responsible source that believes it is capable of meeting the�requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation,�which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing�date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed�requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the�discretion of the Government. All questions, comments, or documents must be sent to sonya.d.vanvalkenburg.civ@army.mil by no later than the closing date of this notice on December 22,2021 @1200 hours EST.
