Description
THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. THIS SOLICITATION IS NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. The contract will be firm-fixed price purchase order. This requirement will be competed and awarded under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This solicitation is UNRESTRICTED acquisition utilizing NAICS code 621511, Medical Laboratories with a size standard of $35,000,000. Description of the Service: �The Government will perform the collection of all specimens at the government location. The contractor shall perform laboratory testing at the contractor laboratory site. The contractor shall be available to pick up samples within 24 hours of notification and provide services. Contractor shall retrieve specimen samples from designated location within 24 hours of notification from the government of request for lab service, conduct laboratory testing of specified samples and provide laboratory test service, conduct laboratory testing of specified samples and provide laboratory test results of the government within 48 hours of receipt of specified samples. Contractor shall be licensed by the State of Maine to provide the specific services required with a minimum of three (3) years of clinical laboratory experience. Contractor shall ensure licensed medical technicians perform the screening/testing elements. The Period of Performance shall be one Base Year from 2 March 2022 to 1 March 2023 and two 12-month option years. The USP&FO for Maine intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) under W912JD22Q0002. The basis of award and evaluation criteria will be published within the RFQ. The solicitation should be published once all of the reviews have been completed, which should be on or about Tuesday, 4 January 2022, or earlier.� The information will be made available to the public solely distrusted through the General Services Administration�s, System for Award Management (SAM)� https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/� �Hard copies of the solicitation will not be made available.� The web-site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including the solicitation and solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely though this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.
