- 82nd Medical Group at Sheppard AFB, Wichita Falls,Texas is seeking a mock survey to prepare for The Joint Commission (TJC) inspection. The consultation MUST begin NLT 15 January 2022, with the final�written summary of consultation services, findings, and recommendations delivered within thirty (30) days of the consultation. Objectives Observe, assess, and evaluate current health care operations in relationship to meeting organizational goals of quality and patient safety. Identify important organizational and systems issues related to safety, quality of care, treatment and services and interfaces between those processes. Help the 82d Medical Group understand gaps between its current state and compliance with Joint Commission accreditation requirements.� Provide consultation to correct any gaps. Confirm contracted mobile MRI Trailer is within TJN compliance standards Methods of Analysis Accreditation Preparation-Ambulatory On-site Consultation for three (3) days with a Nurse Consultant with Patient Center Medical Home (PCMH) experience, a Physician and an Environment of Care Consultant. Pre-visit information gathering; and discussion about current view of Joint Commission accreditation, any potential timeline for accreditation being attained by Client, key Client subject matter experts, and Client�s current knowledge of The Joint Commission 2021 Comprehensive Accreditation Manual. Review of self-assessment activity results are available at time of onsite visit. Assessment of organizational approach in areas such as leadership, patient safety, infection prevention and control, medication management, emergency management, use of data medical staff through interactive conferences (as identified in organization-specific agenda), and facility management, with focus on understanding gaps between Client�s current state and Joint Commission� requirements. Utilization of individual and system tracers to review direct care processes, across services and disciplines, in key inpatient and outpatient clinical areas and the environment, with focus on understanding gaps between the Client�s current state and Joint Commission requirements. Information will be gathered by making observations, conducting interviews and reviewing selected documents. Review of processes, focus on identified risk points, and development of strategies to minimize these risks. Agenda The company shall coordinate with the MTF�s Quality Manager to develop the agenda of the inspectable criteria IAW the 2021 Joint Commission Manual. Consultants and Dates To be determined upon acceptance and return of the Agreement. Deliverable(s) A written summary of consultation services, findings, and recommendations within thirty (30) days of the consultation.
