Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to release a Request for Proposal (RFP) to the OEM, John Bean Technologies Corporation (Cage Code 54077) Ogden, UT and their aurthorized distributors on a limited source basis for a Fixed-Price IDIQ type contract for the procurement of up to quantity eightteen (18)�Air Conditioner, Model A/M32C-23, Part Number (P/N) L100000. This diesel-electric powered air conditioner is required to cool MQ-4C aircraft avionics compartments during ground maintenance.� The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 3204 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1 and FAR 8.405-6(b). The Government does not own the data rights. A competitive drawing package for this effort is not available. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government, not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
