Description

This is a sources sought announcement; a market survey for information only to be used for preliminary planning purposes. �The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this request including interested small business sources. �This notice is for planning purposes only.� No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice or any follow up information requests.� All interested parties should respond. The 145th Airlift Wing intends to issue a solicitation and award a firm-fixed price contract for the maintenance/repair of 150 lb. Flightline Halon Fire Extinguishers to include Inspection of the down tube and valve assembly solder.� All interested parties will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intent to submit a quote no later than Tuesday, 27 December 2021, 10:00 am EST.� �Please include company name, CAGE Code, DUNS number, POC information.� To be considered, interested parties must also submit license/certification for the inspection, maintenance, and testing of halon fire extinguishers in compliance with state and national fire code criteria and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements.� In the event a sufficient number of small business contractors are not available for adequate competition, it may be advertised as unrestricted.
