- Sources Sought Synopsis Only The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (hubzone, 8(a), small, small disadvantage, veteran owned small business (VOSB), service-disabled veteran owned small business (SDVOSB), or large business) relative to the listed NAICS code. Note that if VA s pending market research establishes that two or more VOSB or SDVOSB, who are certified in VA s Vendor Information Pages (VIP) site https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/, can perform the project, VA will set aside the underlying solicitation per 38 U.S.C. §8127. The NAICS/PSC for this requirement is: NAICS Code: 811219 - Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance PSC: H958 Other Qc/test/inspect - Communication, Detection, and Coherent Radiation Equipment Size Standard: $22.0M Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this source sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published on SAM and/or GSA eBuy. Responses to this source sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. All Offerors who provide goods or services to the United States Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database found at https://www.beta.sam.gov. Registration must include Representations and Certifications. Scope: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, and qualified personnel to perform on-site calibrations of Radiation Detection Systems for VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, (VAGLAHS). Specific Tasks: The Contractor shall travel to VAGLAHS at least two (2) times per year to perform on-site calibrations of the various radiation detecting devices. The first calibration shall be performed in the month of January, and the second calibration shall be performed in the month of June or as otherwise agreed to by VAGLAHS. Provide electronic calibration certificates for each instrument calibrated in accordance with the regulations in 10 CFR Parts 20 and 35.
