- SOURCES SOUGHT TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION FOR SERVICES. INTRODUCTION The Mission Installation and Contracting Command, Fort Hood, Texas is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support the requirement for Overhead Doors Preventative Maintenance, Repair, and Replacement service The intention is to procure these services on a competitive basis BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES (IN FULL OR IN PART) OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION, and multiple awards MAY be made. The associated NAICS is on the SBA�s Qualifying NAICS for the Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Federal Contracting program, however, based on responses. All Small Business Set-Aside categories may be considered. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF POTENTIAL OFFERORS TO MONITOR THE GPE FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMMATION PERTAINING TO THIS REQUIREMENT.� PROGRAM BACKGROUND The Directorate of Public Works (DPW), is designated as the requiring activity for the Overhead Doors Preventative Maintenance, Repair, and Replacement service Overhead door. The Government will not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers. The Contractor shall perform to the standards specified in this Performance Work Statement (PWS). Contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government. The Contractor shall perform Overhead Doors Preventative Maintenance Services for the Fort Hood Installation. Fort Hood is located near Killeen, Texas and consists of approximately 218,823 acres, 5,838 buildings and over 3100 Overhead Doors
