Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY.� This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quotation, or invitation for bids.� The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors for market research purposes.� This notice does not commit the Government to issue any type of solicitation or award an ultimate contract.� It does not restrict the Government from a particular approach.� The Government does not pay for information obtained through this type of notice. The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, Mid-Atlantic, PWD Great Lakes, is seeking potential firms capable of furnishing all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering, and other items necessary for Management and Execution of Base-wide Refuse Collection/Disposal and Recycling Services at NAVAL STATION GREAT LAKES. The contract term will be a base period plus four (04) one year option periods. Planned NAICS: the planned NAICS Code for this requirement is 562111 � Solid Waste Collection with at size standard of $41.5 million. If issued, the solicitation will utilize source selection procedures which will require offerors to submit a proposal for evaluation by the Government. Submitted Sources Sought Questionnaires must be completed and sufficiently detailed to assist Government in determining the firm�s qualifications to perform the defined work. Interested parties are requested to submit the attached Sources Sought Questionnaire to NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic, PWD Great Lakes via email to patriciaann.b.borja.civ@us.navy.mil.� Receipt of potential offeror�s sources sought package shall be received no later than Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 2:30pm, Central Time. This sources sought notice is for information and planning notice is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or ultimate award a contract.� An award will not be made on offers received in response to this notice.� This notice is not a Request for Proposal (RFP); it is a market research tool being utilized to determine the availability of sources prior to issuing the RFP. The Government will not pay for any effort expended in responding to this notice.
