Description
The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to provide Interim Contract Support (ICS) of the AN/AIC- 53 Digital Intercommunication System (DICS) LRU�s, to include: Interface Control Unit (ICU) NSN: 5895-01-620-0416, P/N: 899-3100-017 installed on 21 United States Air Force (USAF) HH-60G aircraft. The level of security clearance and amount of foreign participation in this requirement has not been determined. The contractor must be able to manage the inventory of installed and spare DICU components. This service includes fill open requirements and repair depot and field generated unserviceable components, consisting of the Low Profile Control Audio Panel (LPCAP) NSN: 5895-01-620-0313, P/N: 899-1200-003 and Integrated Aircraft Interface Unit (IAIU) NSN: 5895-01-694-6891, P/N: 780-1200-001-CF0095-M32. This service includes acquiring serviceable replacement DICU for any that are deemed beyond economical repair. The basic contract duration is for a 12 month Period of Performance (PoP) with 2, one-year options. The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the DICU is Telephonics Inc. The government does not own the rights to the data required to manufacture the DICU. Contractor shall furnish all required labor, material, support equipment, tools, test equipment, and services to accomplish repair, test, preservation and packaging, and return to the government a completely serviceable unit. The contractor shall be responsible for providing, maintaining, and calibrating all support equipment required at their facility or a subcontractor�s facility. Contractor furnished material or parts used for replacement shall equal or exceed the quality of the original material or parts. Contractor shall be responsible for supply chain management, logistics, forecasting of parts, long-lead parts procurement, reparable forecasting, obsolescence issues and delivery of serviceable assets. Contractors/Institutions responding to this market research are placed on notice that participation in this survey may not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards. The government will not reimburse participants for any expenses associated with their participation in this survey. This Request for Information (RFI) is for planning purposes only and is not a Request for Quotations or Proposals. No solicitation document exists, and a formal solicitation may or may not be issued by the Government as a result of the responses to this RFI. The Government will not be liable for payment of any response preparation expenses nor does the Government intend to pay for the information submitted in response to this posting. Contractors/Institutions responding to this market research are placed on notice that participation in this survey may not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards.
