- This is to identify sources that can provide customization to Dassault Systems� 3DEXPERIENCE Software. �Firms who are interested should respond electronically to the Points of Contact listed below via email by 18 January 2022 including the following: (1) Name and address of firm; (2) A point of contact with name, title, phone, and email; (3) Cage code and DUNS number (if available). (4) A brief capabilities statement of no more than four (4) pages explaining your company�s experience with 3DEXPERIENCE and the ability to meet the Activity requirements listed below. Required format:� 8.5 x 11 inch paper, compatible with Microsoft Word 2016 for Windows; Font Times New Roman; 10pt, 1-inch margins, single-spaced. (5) All materials submitted are to be properly marked for purposes of identification or proprietary rights.�� Please be advised that all interested parties must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database in order to receive an award. If not registered in the SAM database, interested parties may register on-line at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Description of item: The Government is installing, configuring, and customizing a Dassault Systems Group out-of-the-box (OOTB) 3DEXPERIENCE platform for an Integrated Digital Environment (IDE). The Government seeks to identify potential sources to support these activities.� Please identify if your organization is capable of acting as a source to perform the following activities, and briefly describe your qualifications to perform the below subtasks as well as any previous experience in performing similar activities. Activity 1: The purpose of this activity is to provide complete configuration and customization of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform to be deployed on an IDE. Tasks may include, but not be limited to: Configuring 3DEXPERIENCE, to include proprietary source-code modification, facilitating third-party application and data integration, custom attribute definition and development of extensions of OOTB capabilities. Identifying and prioritizing configurations and customizations to the OOTB software based on user specific needs. Creating and providing technical specification documents to include exact modifications, and steps to perform these modifications, for required software. Creating and deploying build packages to the IDE. Providing detailed information on the 3DEXPERIENCE software architecture and underlying compute resource requirements in support of further IDE development. Providing information on 3DEXPERIENCE development roadmaps, including planned capability additions and software release schedules. Activity 2: The purpose of this activity is to work with the Government to define and conduct a detailed training curriculum on 3DEXPERIENCE functionality and use, and to provide long-term embedded SME support on DS applications. Additionally, this activity will provide post-training support and include knowledge transfer sessions to users on specific topics related to the configuration and customization of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform environment in the IDE. Knowledge transfer sessions will be related to information technology activities such as installation, configuration, customization or business administrative activities such as template creation, dashboard creation, and any topics identified in the training curriculum document. Tasks may include, but not be limited to: Providing 3DEXPERIENCE training curriculum and schedule. Leading and conducting training to users, based on agreed upon training curriculum. Coordinating with the Government to define, manage, and deliver a knowledge transfer plan, and allocate resources accordingly. Preparing the knowledge sharing content and methods, e.g., workshops and presentations, as needed for each subject as per knowledge transfer plan. Conducting knowledge sharing sessions with users. Support personnel will require ability to access Secret level data to provide detailed application troubleshooting and issue resolution. This SOURCES SOUGHT request is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Quotation (RFQ) or a promise to issue an RFQ in the future.� 3DEXPERIENCE Software is a product of Dassault Systems. However, the Government may consider all responsible sources received within fifteen days of this posting.� This request does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the Government is not at this time seeking quotations and will not accept unsolicited quotations. Respondees are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this request; all costs associated with responding to this request will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this request does not preclude participation in any future RFQ, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the sam.gov website. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor these sites for additional information pertaining to this requirement.� Disclaimer Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) and Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC) contractors will be reviewing data submitted in response to this update; respective A&AS and FFRDC employees have standard Non-Disclosure Agreements available to the cognizant Government contracting offices. The primary companies providing technical and management support are The MITRE Corporation and Johns Hopkins�University Applied Physics Laboratory under Air Force contracts and Oasis Systems LLC, Huntington Ingalls Industries, Mainsail, MCR LLC and PCI LLC under the Engineering, Professional, and Administrative Support Services (EPASS) contract.
