- This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is issued pursuant to FAR 14 by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Forest Service (FS), on Behalf of the National Forests and Grasslands in Texas, Davy Crockett Ranger District office, 18551 Texas 7, Kennard, TX 75847. Type of Contract: This Invitation for Bid (IFB),12445122B0001, �will result in award of a firm-fixed price contract.� Award will be made to the lowest priced responsive/responsible bidder.� Set Aside: The project is set-aside 100% for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).� The associated NAICS of this acquisition is 237110 Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction.� PSC Code Z1NE - MAINTENANCE OF WATER SUPPLY FACILITITES. Magnitude: In accordance with FAR 36.204, the magnitude of this project is: magnitude of this project is: (b)�Between $25,000 and $100,000. Scope of Work: Ratcliff Rec Area Waterline Replacement. This project will involve the installation of approximately 2075 l.f. of 4� PVC water pipeline per the Schedule of Items, complete with casings, valves, fittings, reconnections and other appurtenances; and connection to all existing lateral lines encountered. The Contractor shall reference the Schedule of Items, Specifications and Drawings for a complete description of work items. Work includes, but is not limited to, the following major work items: 1. Mobilization. 2. Dig and replace existing water 4"" C900 PVC water line. 3. Connect to existing water line. 4. Reconnect air release valve. 5. 4"" gate valve. 6. Testing and Disinfecting. Location: Project Name and Location: Ratcliff Rec Area Waterline Replacement. Ratcliff Rec Area is located approximately one mile west of Ratcliff, Texas, Via Texas SR 7, on the Davy Crockett National Forest of the National Forests and Grasslands in Texas.
