Description

Notice of Intent Sole Source- CQ Roll Call Inc. The United States Coast Guard (USCG) intends to negotiate a sole source Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) award to CQ Roll Call Inc., Address: 1625 Eye St. NW, Ste. 200; Washington DC� 20006-4061. �This procurement is being conducted under simplified acquisitions procedures in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. The purpose of this acquisition is to procure 24 subscriptions/licenses to a legislative tracking and congressional news service/database. The service/database shall track Congressional legislation and budgets. Provide legislative tracking and non-partisan congressional news relating to the USCG and Department of Homeland Security (DHS).� Be accessible via Internet Explorer 11, as well as IOS and Android mobile platforms; allow users to create custom email alerts, notifying them when topics related to the USCG and DHS are mentioned in a news story, legislation, floor speeches, etc... as well as provide access to all new and updated CRS Reports and CRS Bill Digests as they become available.� This notice serves as both a synopsis of the requirement and public notice of the USCG's intent to sole source. This action is being taken in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government does not intend to pay for information provided in response to this notice. Written responses to this notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. All responses shall be submitted to Wendy Stevenson via email to wendy.stevenson@uscg.mil by 5:00PM EST on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 and Reference no.70Z02322QCONAFFAIRS. If the Agency does not receive an acceptable response to this announcement by the specified date, negotiations will be conducted with CQ Roll Call Inc. as the only source and a purchase order will be issued without any additional notices being posted. As a result of this notice, a separate award notice or further public notices shall not be made. This notice constitutes all of the USCG's public notice requirements.
