Description
This is NOT a solicitation or request for quote (RFQ). This is NOT a request for proposal (RFP). This is NOT a job advertisement for hiring employees. The VA is seeking QUALIFIED VENDORS to provide a very brief response to this notice including only just what is asked for in this notice below. This is a sources sought notice to industry and the only information is posted on Contract Opportunities web page at https://SAM.Gov/. Sources sought means seeking qualified vendors. The attachments included on the Contract Opportunities page do not include any additional information. If your company is interested please read this notice entirely and submit the required information, as requested herein. VA is seeking qualified sources ( vendors ) who have interest and capability of providing weekly municipal waste collection, disposal, and recycling services (scrap metal, pallets, shrink wrap, plastic). Services include provision of compactors and dumpsters (e.g., 2-yard, 6-yard and 8-yard containers, 30-yard rollback) at the Eastern Oklahoma VA Health Care System, 1011 Honor Heights Drive, Muskogee, Oklahoma 74401 as well as VA facilities on Shawnee Bypass in Muskogee. In 2020, there was an estimated 488,572 lbs. of regular solid waste. A qualified source will be compliant with the requirements of EPA, FDA, DOT, and OSHA. VHA Directive 7708, Pollution Prevention Program, and VHA Directive 7707, Green Environmental Management Systems (GEMS) will be a requirement in a resultant contract.
