Description

A six month extension under Contract No. DJJ18-C-2767 is needed to allow the department additional time to implement a new solution.��The anticipated performance period of the extension will be from April 1, 2022 through September 30, 2022. �� The U.S. Department of Justice, Justice Management Division, Procurement Services Staff intends to enter into negotiations with Spin Systems, Inc., a small, disadvantaged business concern located in Falls Church, VA, on an other than full and open competition basis to extend contract No. DJJ18-C-2767 to continue obtaining Spin Business Framework (SBF) software updates and maintenance and ad hoc SBF developer support.� The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Interested persons must clearly demonstrate their ability to service/support the SBF product and provide SBF development expertise and support. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within seven days after the date this notice is published will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
