- This is a Request for Information (RFI). DLA Troop Support Europe and Africa is interested in your comments related to the requirement for the removal of trash and recycling materials from a Government facility, Germersheim DLA Distribution Services. There is no solicitation available at this time. The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this RFI, nor will the Government compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing the information provided to the Government. This RFI does not constitute a commitment from the Government and any information provided in response to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only and will not be inappropriately released. Any proprietary information submitted will be protected if appropriately marked. Vendor participation is not a promise for future business with the Government. The sole purpose of this RFI is to conduct Market Research and is not indicative of a full requirement. Requirement: �The place of performance is DLA Disposition Services, US Depot Germersheim, Germersheim / Lingenfeld, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. �The contractor shall provide two (2) hydraulically operated trash compactors and four (4) trash containers.� The subject containers shall be placed at locations specified by the Government POC. �Each container shall be emptied by Contractor when notified by Government POC, and an identical container shall be placed in the respective location. The anticipated contract period of performance is three years. �The specifications for the hydraulically operated trash compactors and trash containers are as follows: Two (2) hydraulically operated trash compactors with a minimum fill capacity of 20 cubic meters each; one compactor for paper, one compactor for plastics/foil. Compactors shall be mechanically and electrically in safe operational condition and all inspections, as required by German law, shall be up to date and repeated as prescribed during the entire contract performance period. �The average pickup for compactors is once every other month or approximately 6 times per year. Four (4) 20/30 cubic meter trash containers without compacting features; two containers for plastic, two containers for paper. �The average pickup dates for containers are once per month or approximately 12 times per year.
