- Upper Washita River Watershed Site 23A Remedial Dam Repair - Hemphill County, TX The repair of Site 23A consists of two distinct construction items. The first item consists of the excavation and removal of the existing foundation drainage system that consists of a 2.5-feet wide trench drain comprised of fine and coarse drainfill, as well as the perforated and non-perforated CMP collector and outfall conduits. The second item consists of installation of a new foundation drainage system and its associated appurtenances; and backfill of the excavated subgrade to complete the embankment to its designed dimensions. The project�will be a Total Small Business set-aside.� The NAICS code for this solicitation is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction.� The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS is $39.5M. A firm fixed price construction contract is anticipated under the Sealed Bidding Procedures in FAR Part 14.� In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000.� A bid bond in the amount of 20% of the bid price is required to be submitted with bids. �A Payment Bond (SF-25A), and a Performance Bond (SF-25), in the amount of 100% of the project cost will be required within 10 calendar days of contract award.� Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Bid and bid guarantees may only be submitted electronically.� A public bid opening will be held virtually; details are provided on page 46. �A site showing will be held on January 19, 2022; details are provided on page 44. The anticipated period of performance is 78 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
