- Description
- The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) intends to contract using other than full and open competition for a Training Aid Delivery Device (TADD) in support of new and ongoing mission critical TSA canine training operations.� The TADD provides for the safe containment of hazardous materials with a filter or membrane which allows for vapor release of a volatile organic compound or training aid substance and yet is impermeable to the actual organic compound or training aid substance. �Accordingly, the TSA intends to award a contract to SCIK9, 8208 LAZY POINT LN, LORTON, VA 22079. This contract will address the requirements of and the�TSA Chemistry and Explosive Branch and the TSA National Explosives Detection Canine Team Program. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
