THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ONLY.� THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR QUOTE.� PHNSY & IMF IS NOT SEEKING PRICING OR OFFERS. Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) intends to solicit and award a sole source contract under authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) or 41 U.S. C. 3304(a)(1) and (see FAR 6.302-1) to Curtiss-Wright Electro-Mechanical Corporation (Curtiss-Wright).� Curtiss-Wright is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the High Pressure Air Compressor onboard 688 class submarines.� No other qualified vendor can provide this type of work onboard naval 688 class submarines while meeting the military/Navy�s standards and expectations.� Repair of system requires proprietary information (ex. drawings, specifications, etc.). � Any interested party that believes it is capable of meeting the requirement described herein may submit a capability statement.� All capability statements received will be evaluated to determine merit.� Responses must be submitted in writing no later than the time and date noted above.� Telephone responses and requests will not be received.� A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
