Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Patuxent River, MD intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price type delivery order under a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) # N00019-21-G-0012 with Bell Textron Inc. The order will procure the effort necessary to provide an updated Technical Data Package (TDP) for the current configuration of the H-1. This contract action will be negotiated and awarded on a sole source basis with Bell Textron Inc. Fort Worth, Texas, in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under Title 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), as implemented by FAR Part 6.302-1, �Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.� BHTI is the sole designer, developer and systems integrator of the H-1 series Helicopter. As such BHTI is the only known responsible source with the knowledge, in-depth experience, technical data, tooling and test equipment required to perform this effort within the required schedule.
