- N0016422SNB24 � REQUEST FOR INFORMATION � For the evaluation, overhaul, and/or manufacture of AN/SPS-49 Elevation Drive Ball Screw Assemblies � NAICS 333613 � PSC J020 Issue Date: 11 JAN 2022 � Closing Date: 25 JAN 2022 � Time Eastern MARKET RESEARCH � REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI): This is NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS and no contract will be awarded from this RFI. MARKET SURVEY: Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Crane, IN 47522 intends to solicit and award on a limited competition basis (Small Business Set-Aside), a single Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide for the evaluation, overhaul, and/or manufacture of AN/SPS-49 Elevation Drive Ball Screw Assemblies. Responses to this Market Survey must address availability, budgetary cost estimate, and lead time of the production of the supply. All interested parties are encouraged to submit company and product literature, a white paper no longer than 5 pages, and/or other pertinent information, such as a description of support for similar supplies and a statement of current capability to evaluate, overhaul, and/or manufacture AN/SPS-49 Elevation Drive Ball Screw Assemblies, and identify other Government contracts, with similar supply efforts, for the Government�s consideration. This RFI is for market research purposes only and does NOT constitute a Request for Proposal or Invitation for Bid (IFB). This notice shall not be construed as a contract, a promise to contract, or as a commitment of any kind by the Government. The Government is NOT seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. This RFI is issued solely for information, planning, and market research purposes in accordance with FAR Part 10. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT INTEND TO AWARD A CONTRACT ON THE BASIS OF THIS SOURCES SOUGHT OR OTHERWISE PAY FOR THE INFORMATION SOLICITED NOR IS THIS A SOLICITATION. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this Request for Information is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Only those companies that have completed DD Form 2345 and are certified under the Joint Certification Program (JCP) in an active status are authorized to receive export controlled information.
