- Description
- The Department of Homeland Security, Office of Procurement Operations, Federal Protective Service Acquisition Division, intends to procure armed protective security officer services at various locations throughout the Philadelphia Metropolitan Area This requirement is being solicited in accordance with FAR Part 12. It is anticipated that a single award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) type contract with fixed price monthly units (hours) will be established as a result of the solicitation. The contract will consist of a 12-month base period followed by four 12-month options. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 561612, Security Guard and Patrol Services. The size standard is $22.0 million As an integral part of this security effort, the Contractor shall provide and maintain all management, supervision, manpower, training, equipment, supplies, licenses, permits, certificates, insurance, pre-employment screenings, reports, and files necessary to accomplish this requirement. The RFP will require the submission of a technical proposal as well as a price proposal. All proposals received from industry will be evaluated using Best Value/Trade-Off Procedures. This requirement is being solicited unrestricted. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be released to the SAM.gov website on or about 01/24/2022. It is the Contractor�s responsibility to monitor the website for the issuance of the RFP, as well as any updates to the solicitation. A Pre-Proposal Conference will be conducted at the FPS-AD office in Philadelphia shortly after Solicitation issuance. This conference will invite all interested parties to attend a briefing on this procurement, including but not limited to a summary of the evaluation criteria: explanation of relevant past performance, supervisory post exhibit, teaming arrangements, etc. Attendance is not mandatory; however, it is strongly recommended.
