Description

This sources sought is being posted to satisfy the requirement of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement 206.302-1(d). The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD), intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract on a sole source basis to 4D Tech Solutions, located at 401 10th Street, Fairmont, WV 26554 for testing series and events, including but not limited to the following: heavy machinery operation, hardware installation and the construction of testing arrays for the Blossom Point Research Facility (BPRF). 4D Tech has unique expertise and access to proprietary data needed to support mission required testing, support and evaluation. THIS IS NOT AN INVITATION FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 USC2304(C)(1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider all responses received to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. No solicitation will be available for this procurement. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit or award a contract. All interested sources shall provide the organization name, address, point of contact, phone number, fax number, e-mail address, business size, taxpayer identification number, DUNS number, and CAGE Code. In addition, all interested sources shall provide a summary of their company�s capabilities. All responding sources must email their submissions no later than 26 January 2022 to Bridget Taylor at Bridget.m.Taylor.civ@us.navy.mil Large files need to be compressed using ZIP and renamed with a .zip file extension.
