Page 3 of 3 REQUEST FOR INFORMATION IS ISSUED SOLELY FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY AND DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION PURPOSE This is a Request for Information (RFI), this is not a Request for Quotes (RFQ). No formal solicitation document exists at this present time. This is not a solicitation announcement. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice will be utilized by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this RFI, a solicitation announcement may or may not be published in Contract Opportunities. STATEMENT OF NEED VAMC in Martinsburg WV has the need for a variety of sizes in wipe-down walking pant supports (NOT SLINGS). These pants are there to assist our Veterans in rehabilitation / walking and gait training. They are used in conjunction with a patient lift. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS: Please note, the walking pant supports are requested, and not the walking slings with the straps that go around each thigh. They must be the pull-on underwear style (non-negotiable). Compatible with the MedCare Ceiling Lift Made from material that can be easily wiped down. Adjustable Variety of sizes from Small to XXXL including Bariatric Small, Medium, Large and XL size weight capacity is 660 lbs. XXL and XXXL size weight capacity is 1,100 lbs. Must be suitable for patients with groin sensitivities NOTE All Capability Statements/Responses to this Sources Sought Notice shall be submitted via email only to Liana.Holland@va.gov. Telephone, fax, or any other form of communication inquiries will not be reviewed or accepted. If a solicitation is issued, it may or may not be announced at a later date, and all interested parties shall respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this Sources Sought Notice.
