- 628th Contracting Squadron Sources Sought Notice 437th Alert Facilities FA4418-22-Alert Facilities Services Joint Base Charleston, SC THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY.� This is not a solicitation or Request for Quote/Proposal/Bid and no contract or purchase order will be awarded as a result of this notice.� There is no solicitation, specifications, or drawings available at this time.� The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis. The information received will not obligate the Government in any manner nor will the Government reimburse companies for any costs associated with submittal of this notice. Further, the information collected by means of this market research will be exclusively used to help guide the strategy of this requirement; therefore, contractors are encouraged to participate in the attached survey and provide the data corresponding with this sources sought. Once more, this notice is an announcement seeking information on contractors capable of providing services herein. The 628th Contracting Squadron is seeking eligible businesses to provide Alert Facilities Services for the 437th Operations Group, Special Operations Division (437 OG/OGS) at Joint Base Charleston, SC. This contract will include a base and four (4) option years with a period of performance (POP) commencing on 01 October 2022- 30 September 2023.� The contractor will furnish qualified personnel to perform the alert force manager and housekeeping services, in strict accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Support services, tasks and functions to include: Follows 437th Operations Group, Special Operations Division (437 OG/OGS) policies pertaining to alert force management, responsible for billeting of the wing�s J-Alert force, ensures alert facility is maintained in a high state of readiness at all times and all accommodations are fully functional, the contractor shall provide services for up to 62 crewmembers each week to include recall rosters, room keys, cellphone management, facility management for alert dormitory, vehicle management for 10 government trucks/vans, and provide accurate crew information to various base/Higher Headquarters agencies involved in the alert mission, and the contractor shall accomplish all housekeeping tasks and be required to provide and replenish room supplies. All Small businesses, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, Certified HUBZone and Certified Section 8(a) Small Businesses are encouraged to respond. The preferred approach is to solicit this requirement as a competitive 8(a) Small Business set aside and obtain a firm-fixed price to establish a contract but the Government will determine whether a set-aside acquisition in lieu of full and open competition is in the Government's best interest. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 561210- Base Facilities Operation Support Services with a size standard of $41.5 Million. This is a market research tool used to determine the availability of potential small business sources prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of award. Further, small business agencies must register a business profile with the System for Award Management. If you are not registered, you may request an application at (866) 606-8220 or through the SAM website at http://www.sam.gov. Questions over the telephone will not be taken. Keep in mind, this is a sources sought to help identify if there are any potential offerors and to research the federal market to understand the competition. This RFI does not commit the Government to enter into any contractual agreement, nor will the Government pay for the information requested hereunder. The Government shall incur no obligations or liabilities to anyone for any costs or expenses incurred by the respondent in responding to this RFI. Not responding to this request does not preclude participation in any future RFP. The information provided in this RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the Government or the respondent. As such, to the extent that any information submitted in response to this RFI is marked as, or construed to be proprietary or business-sensitive, respondents are hereby notified (a) about the potential that such information may be disclosed to third parties and (b) that submission of information in response to this RFI constitutes consent to such handling and disclosure of submitted information. NO phone calls and/or request for a solicitation will be accepted or acknowledged. Company Brochures are NOT desired. RESPONSES ARE DUE by 27 January 2022 at 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.
