Description

USAID is seeking feedback to inform a potential activity, Economic Foundations for a Resilient Armenia that will enhance Armenia�s economic security and ability to take advantage of periods of economic growth and navigate economic downturns.� The activity will achieve this through three mutually reinforcing lines of effort that will aim to address underlying root causes rather than the symptoms that hinder Armenia�s progress in the area of economic governance.� The first will provide comprehensive technical assistance to specific partners within the Government of Armenia (the government) that addresses both needed technical capabilities and institutional challenges.� The second will work in the targeted sectors of tourism, agriculture, and high-tech to strengthen sector-level coordination and collaboration to enhance competitiveness. The third will identify and support the productive use of financial capital by Armenian businesses through catalytic investments in targeted sectors.� Collectively, these approaches will strengthen Armenia�s capacity for economic stewardship and the competitiveness of the private sector.
