- This is a market survey to locate sources of supply (manufacturers or suppliers) for Vehicle Intercom Systems cable assembly listed by National Stock Number (NSN), procurement part list (PPL) number/part number and item name/nomenclature below: Nomenclature� //� NSN� //� PART NUMBER� //�QTY CABLE ASSEMBLY,SPECIAL PURPOSE,ELECTRICAL,BRANCHED� //� 5995-01-392-7358� //� A3206023-13-16� //� 78 The electrical cable assembly listed above are used various assembly configurations for the AN/VIC-3 as a part Vehicle Intercommunications System (VIS) that is deployed from vehicles ranging from light armored HMMWV up to armored Abrahams. Depending on the vehicle platform used the electrical cables assembly changes, which directly connect with the AN/VIC-3 system. The AN/VIC-3 system consists of five boxes which are Master control Station (MCS), which operates as the central control hub for the vehicle, the Full Function Crew Station (FFCS), which operates as an intercom between each soldier in the vehicle, the Monitor Only Station (MOS), which operates as a listen on alternative to the FFCS, the Radio Interface Terminal (RIT), which is used to connect additional radios to the VIS system, and a loudspeaker for systems where applicable. Government owns the complete Technical Data Package (TDP) for manufacture and acceptance of this item. �The Technical Data Package, which include top level drawings, the associated parts list, component level drawings, test requirements for manufacture and acceptance of this item will be released along with the solicitation award. Top-level drawing of the cables can be released prior to the release of the solicitation upon request. �This information shall not be provided to non-U.S. persons or transferred by any means to any location outside the United States Department of State. � �� Interested sources that are capable of manufacturing or supplying any of the items list above must submit enough information to demonstrate their capability to manufacture or supply these items. �At a minimum, information submitted should include but is not limited to the following types of documentation: A detail description of your capability of manufacturing or supplying these items and the responses to the questionnaire attached. � The information received from this market survey will be evaluated by the Government for the purpose of planning to determine if responsible sources exist, and to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or set aside for Small Business. �The Government will also use the information, in part, to determine the best acquisition strategy for a potential procurement action and to assist in making future acquisition strategy decisions. This is NOT a Request for Quote or Proposal. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this SSA or reimburse interested sources or responders to this notice for any information received and any costs incurred in responding, or for subsequent exchanges of information. Information submitted does not constitute a proposal and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, but will be considered an exchange of capabilities and ideas. All SSA responses should be emailed to the Technical and Competition Advocate Points of Contact at the email addresses listed below. TDP RECEIPT INSTRUCTIONS: INTERNATIONAL TRAFFIC IN ARMS REGULATIONS: The TDP for this acquisition is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All technical documents for this item include but is not limited to, test plans, test reports, drawings and specifications contains information that is subject to the controls defined in the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR). This information shall not be provided to non- U.S. persons or transferred by any means to any location outside the United States Department of State. A company wishing to receive the TDP must have an active status in the Defense Logistics Agency Joint Certification Program (JCP), and must complete the attached NDA. Please email our central inbox DLA_APG_SSA_Posting_Request@dla.mil with the Notice ID (DLA-Aberdeen-xx-xxx) in the subject, the completed and signed NDA attached to the posting, and a copy of your company�s CAGE verification in SAM (System for Award Management). Once the Government has received your NDA, and your company CAGE has been verified to have active status in JCP, we will upload the TDP to DoD SAFE https://safe.apps.mil/. You will then receive an email from DoD SAFE site with a link to the package ID and a password. The TDP may contain drawings in a C4 format. Software to view C4 drawings is available for download through http://www.landandmartitime.dla.mil/Viewers.asp.
