Purpose: The purpose of Amendment 0001 is to provide USCG response to Requests for Clarification 1&2. Action: Please review attached Amendment 0001 (SF30) and return a signed copy acknowledging Amendment 0001 with your bid package.�� _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ INVITATION FOR BID-�70Z08821BPQQ23300,�MAINTENANCE DREDGING AT USCG STATION CAPE DISAPPOINTMENT, ILWACO WA. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: THIS WORK INCLUDES MAINTENANCE DREDGING OF UP TO 4,000 CUBIC YARDS (CY) FROM THE MOORING BASIN AND BOAT LIFT AREAS AT THE U.S. COAST GUARD (USCG), STATION CAPE DISAPPOINTMENT IN BAKER BAY, IIWACO, WASHINGTON TO THE INDICATED DESIGN DEPTH -10.0 FEET MEAN LOWER WATER (MLLW) PLUS 2 FEET OVERDEPTH ALLOWANCE. ALL DREDGE SEDIMENT SHALL BE REMOVED USING A MECHANICAL CLAMSHELL OR HYDRAULIC SUCTION AND TRANSPORTED BY BARGE FOR DISPOSAL IN EITHER BAKER BAY FLOWLANE DISPOSAL (BB-3) OR FLOWLANE AREA D (BOTH WITHIN THE COLUMBIA RIVER/CLATSOP COUNTY OR). ALL WORK SHALL BE COMPLETED DURING THE APPROVED IN-WATER WORK WINDOW OF 01 NOVEMBER 2021 THROUGH 28 FEBRUARY 2022. AWARD IS ANTICIPATED THE WEEK OF JANUARY 10, 2022. DREDGING MUST BE COMPLETED BY 28 FEBRUARY 2022, TO COMPLY WITH ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATIONS.� SITE VISITS WILL BE PROVIDED ON REQUEST. MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION: Between $250,000 and $500,000. THIS REQUIREMENT IS ISSUED AS AN INVITATION FOR BID (IFB) WHICH WILL RESULT IN THE AWARD OF A SINGLE FIRM FIXED PRICE (FFP) CONTRACT. Request for Clarification should be submitted using form provided, Appendix F.
