Description

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Forest Service (FS), Intermountain Zone, Caribou-Targhee National Forest has a need for Bridge Materials, including stringers, abutment sill, backing planks, deck, handrail, running planks, and all hardware to attach and assemble these items. Timber elements are to be manufactured (cut and drilled) prior to treatment per specification in the plans. Also included in this purchase are the following: timber sill and abutment anchor bolts and straps. Not included in this purchase are the following: assembly and installation. Materials and treatment shall be according to the specifications in the plans. Dimensions and quantities shall be verified by the vendor and submitted via shop drawings. Approved shop drawings are required before fabrication. Delivery is to be �F.O.B.� and �to be assembled by others.� All final shop drawings are to be sealed by a professional engineer registered in the State of Idaho. Delivery of materials shall be by June 30, 2022, in order to meet an installation window of July 15 � September 30. Delivery shall take place Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. excluding federal holidays, unless otherwise approved by the Contracting Officer. Notice of delivery by the vendor is required 48 hours in advance to allow for the government to coordinate offloading.
