Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is offering for sale two �(2) items of standing timber on approximately 176.4 acres within four (4) separate blocks at Fort A.P. Hill, Bowling Green, VA 22427 of which approximately the following volumes to be harvested: The sales are sold per Item by unit, harvested timber will be sold by WEIGHT by the ton. Item 1 - TIMBER ON 2 BLOCK (84 ACRES) PINE SAWTIMBER � 1,541 Tons PINE CHIP N SAW � 584 Tons PINE PULPWOOD � 871 Tons HARDWOOD SAWTIMBER � 746 Tons HARDWOOD PULPWOOD � 499 Tons Tons of Chips (optional) � 207 Tons Item 2 - TIMBER ON 2 BLOCK (92.4 ACRES) PINE SAWTIMBER -- 171 Tons PINE CHIP N SAW � 76 Tons PINE PULPWOOD � 1,077 Tons HARDWOOD SAWTIMBER � 360 Tons HARDWOOD PULPWOOD � 812 Tons Tons of Chips (optional) � 61Tons Contract Period of Performance: Item # one (1) Block # one (1) � All harvest operations including site rehabilitation activities of this item shall be completed by 15 April 2023.� No tree cutting 15 April to 30 June. Sealed bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. Thursday 10 February 2022 by the Acquisition, Management, and Disposal section, Real Estate Office, 803 Front Street, Norfolk, VA, and then opened publicly.
