Description

Request for Information (RFI) Description: Tobyhanna Army Depot�s intent of this announcement is to identify interested contractors that have the capability to provide a turn-key design, supply, delivery, off-loading, transporting, locating, installation, cleaning, assembly, set-up and training for one (1) each Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) Fiber Laser Cutting Machine. Requirement: The Contractor shall supply all materials, supplies, freight, delivery, tools, equipment, consumables, labor, and supervision for the turnkey design, supply, delivery, off-loading, transporting, locating, installation, cleaning, assembly, set-up and training for the machine.� The Contractor shall also disconnect and remove an existing carbon dioxide laser machine and transport it another Building on site.� The Contractor shall supply only new machines and new associated equipment.� Used and refurbished machines and used and refurbished equipment are unacceptable and will not be considered.� All repair and replacement parts for the machine and associated equipment shall be new. All repair and replacement parts shall be available for purchase and supplied from within the continental United States. Army Regulation 25-2 defines the requested system as an Information System.� The Contractor shall agree that the system being purchased is considered an Information Technology (IT) asset to be operated at a Government facility and as such must adhere to all local and Government regulations outlined in this document under the SOW section 3.0 Cyber Requirements. The Contractor, and all sub-contractors, must abide by all applicable regulations, publications, manuals, and local policies and procedures. This includes, but is not limited to; AR 25-1 as well as STIGs and SRGs as published on https://public.cyber.mil. SEE ATTACHED DRAFT STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) FOR COMPLETE DETAILS OF THE REQUIREMENT. Responses: Interested parties are requested to respond to this RFI with detailed information of their capability on providing the turn-key design, supply, delivery, off-loading, transporting, locating, installation, cleaning, assembly, set-up and training for one (1) each Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) Fiber Laser Cutting Machine for Tobyhanna Army Depot.� Submissions shall be entered in PDF format and shall also include: 1) Company Name and contact information 2) Contractor and Government Entity (CAGE) Code Reponses to this RFI shall be submitted electronically by email to Michael Sudimak at Michael.j.sudimak.civ@army.mil; by close of business (4:30 EST) 28 Jan 2022.� The requested information is for planning and market research purposes only and will not be publicly released. Again, this is not a request for a proposal. Respondents will not be notified of the results. Please note the information within this request for information will be updated and/or may change prior to an official synopsis/solicitation, if any. Industry Discussions: Depot representatives may or may not choose to meet with potential vendors.
