- The Government intends to procure, under only one responsible source, where no other suppliers or service will satisfy the agency requirements. �The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, Hawaii (NAVFAC Hawaii) is conducting market research to determine if other potential products/services can provide for an Industrial Ethernet (IE) Switch that has the equal performance and listing/approval requirements as Cisco Industrial Ethernet (IE) 4000 Series Switch, manufactured by Cisco Systems, Inc., 170 West Tasman Drive, San Jose, CA 95134.� The alternate product/service must meet the following requirements/specifications: 1. � Be compatible with the cybersecurity and standardization requirements for the existing Fort Kamehameha WWTP SCADA system. 2.�� Ethernet Switch: Provide Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) Layer 2 Ethernet switches with the following capabilities, and with an interface to support switch configuration for these capabilities. 3. � Required Functionality: Switches must: Copper Ethernet ports must auto negotiate for 10, 100 and 1000 megabits-per-second links. Be capable of implementing port level access control by MAC address and limit the number of MAC addresses to one MAC address per port. Be capable of implementing per-port access control lists (ACLs) where the list can be filtered by source and destination IP addresses, and by source and destination UDP or TCP ports. Support Remote Network Monitoring (RMON) Port Analysis in accordance with IETF RFC 2819 Configure target port and analysis port such that switch clones all target port traffic to analysis port. Support authentication via RADIUS server (for management and 802.1x) Support IEEE 802.1x network login. 4.�� Configuration Requirements: Switches must: Support configuration save and restore. Support both manual IP address assignment and acquisition of a dynamic IP address via Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP). Be capable of limiting access for configuration to one or more of: a web interface using HTTPS, a command line interface using SSH, or an SNMP connection using SNMP version 3 or later. Support the ability to lock configuration capability to a dedicated management port. This notification is for market research purposes only and should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the U.S. Government to issue a solicitation, request for proposals, quotes, or invitation of bids or award a contract. Interested parties with a comparable product meeting the requirements described in this announcement are invited to submit complete technical data, information and specifications in order for the Government to conduct an evaluation of your product to ensure compatibility with the existing system.� Technical response shall be typed, at least 11 point Times New Roman or larger, single-sided 8.5 by 11 inch pages and submitted in Adobe PDF format.� Also, provide company information and point of contract (name, title, email, phone, mailing address). The Government will not reimburse any responder for any costs associated with information submitted in response to this sources sought announcement. Any information provided to the Government in response to this request for information (RFI) will become U.S. Government property and will not be returned. �All proprietary or classified information will be treated appropriately.� �The Government reserves the right to disregard any submittal that is incomplete or vague.� Please do not submit your company brochure.
