- Description
- The Program Manager Communications Systems (PM CS), Portfolio Manager Command Element Systems, Marine Corps Systems Command, Product Manager (PdM) SATCOM and PdM Terrestrial High-Capacity Communications (THC2) will host Government-Industry meetings on 16 February 2022 in Stafford, VA. The purpose of these meetings is to discuss company-specific ideas and development efforts on tactical satellite and terrestrial transmission systems. The government will also provide opening remarks covering general areas of interest for system development in support of Force Design 2030. This industry day will focus on future development and not on any specific near-term procurement. The Government-Industry meetings are on a limited time and attendee basis. Once the schedule is full, any remaining requests may be accommodated by a future PM CS Industry Day. All presentation items must be printed prior to arrival as administrative support will not be available. Industry Day will be held at the Alexandria Insights facility listed below: Alexandria Insights 75 Barrett Heights Rd, Suite 207 Stafford, VA 22556 Opening remarks from the SATCOM and THC2 teams will begin at 0800 and end at 0845. Attendance for opening remarks is optional. Due to limited conference facility capacity, please limit the number of attendees for opening remarks to two persons per company. The industry day will continue with sessions with individual companies beginning promptly at 0900 and ending at 1630. Check-in for Industry Day begins 15 minutes prior to the scheduled briefing time. Please provide a Common Access Card, driver�s license or passport when you arrive. Individual sessions will not exceed 40 minutes and will be on a first scheduled basis. Please limit the number of attendees for individual sessions to four persons. All attendees will be required to wear a mask while in the Alexandria Insights facility. Companies desiring to participate should RSVP no later than 1600 ET; 4 February 2022, by sending an email, with the Subject line �M67854-22-I-2065� to Ausha McGee at ausha.mcgee@usmc.mil with a courtesy copy to Nick Pierce, at nick.pierce@usmc.mil. Companies who have not registered will not receive access to the Industry Day. Requests for individual sessions shall include: Company�s Name, CAGE Number, and Business Size Point of Contact Name, Title, Phone Number, and email address (please note if POC is also an attendee) Name of all attendees, if any, attending the government�s opening remarks (limited to two) Name of all attendees attending the individual sessions (limited to four) Title of all attendees Phone Number of all attendees Utilization of Non-Government Support Contractors: The Government may use non-Government support contractor personnel from Alexandria Insights, Skylla Engineering, Catalyst, and Peraton to assist in collecting and reviewing market information. Proprietary information submitted in response to this notice will be protected from unauthorized disclosure as required by Subsection 27 of the Federal Procurement Policy Act as amended (41 U.S.C. 423) (hereinafter referred to as ""the Act"") as implemented in the FAR. These companies are bound contractually by Organizational Conflict of Interest and disclosure clauses with respect to proprietary information. Supporting contractor personnel are procurement officials within the meaning of the Act, and will take all necessary action to preclude unauthorized use or disclosure of Contractor's proprietary data. Any proprietary information presented at Industry Day may be used in establishing future Marine Corps requirements, but specific offeror information will be safeguarded as proprietary. NOTE: �This Notice does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. No funds have been authorized, appropriated, or received for this contemplated effort. This Notice is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered as an obligation by Government to acquire any products or services. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of contractor participation in this Notice. All updates will be posted via the SAM portal only.
