Description

The Architect of the Capitol (AOC), Supplies, Services, and Material Management Division (SSMMD) is issuing Request for Proposals (RFP) # AOCSSB22R0019 for custodial services for the U.S. Botanic Garden.� This RFP will result in a Firm Fixed Price Contract to a responsible offeror actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and whose proposal provides the overall best value to the AOC in accordance with the requirements set forth by this solicitation and the Performance Work Statement (PWS).� This solicitation will use procedures in the AOC Contracting Manual � 9.1 Negotiated Acquisitions.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes for this requirement is 561720, Janitorial Services.� The Product Service Code (PSC) is S201, Housekeeping- Custodial Janitorial.� Service Contract Labor Standards are applicable to this procurement.� The Task Order period of performance will be 1 base year and 4 one-year options, for a total of five years from the date of award if all options are exercised.� Also, FAR 52.217-8 is incorporated into this solicitation and the resultant Task Order, meaning that if FAR 52.217-8 is exercised at the conclusion of the forth option year, for six months, the total period of performance will be 5 years and 6 months. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The RFP is 100% set aside for small businesses under NAICS code 561720, Janitorial Services. The List of Attachments is in Section J of Standard Form 18 (SF18).
