Description
The National Greening Fire Team (GFT) is conducting market research to identify vendors that have the skills and experience to provide On-Site Incident Recycling services at wildland fire camps across the United States in the future. Information describing the On-Site Incident Recycling program can be found at:https://www.fs.usda.gov/managing-land/fire/sustainable-ops/incident-recycling. If your company is interested in providing such services, please complete the questionnaire at: Survey Link: https://feedback.gsa.gov/jfe/preview/SV_0dpvkY9XWAdEmI6?Q_CHL=preview&Q_SurveyVersionID=current On-site recycling for wildland fire camps (incidents) has been quite successful so far and is growing in popularity. Over the past three years, on-site incident recycling services have been provided in a limited number of geographic areas (Pacific Northwest, California, and the Southwest) through a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). We are investigating the feasibility of expanding the BPA (nationwide). The National GFT Homepage has videos that offer a quick overview of the program, and you can learn on the GFT Incident Recycling page as well! Please complete the survey if you are interested, and expect to be capable of, providing on-site incident recycling services in 2022 (this year) and in future years (in any number of geographic areas). NOTE: Completion of this questionnaire is optional and is for *market research* purposes only and does not affect any *current* VIPR agreements, Dispatch Priority Lists (DPLs), contracts, etc. nor does it constitute submission of a bid, quote, or proposal. No contracts will result from completion of this questionnaire, but your responses might be included on an internal source list for future market research conducted by an Incident Management Team during an active incident. This is Market Research Only in accordance with FAR Part 10. This is not a solicitation.THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) NOTICE ONLY. This RFI is forinformational and planning purposes only and it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a promise to issue an RFQ in the future. It is not to be construed as acommitment by the Government for any actual procurement of materials, machinery, orservices. Respondents are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated withresponding to this RFI are solely at the responding parties' expense. Respondents aresolely responsible for properly marking and clearly identifying any proprietary information or trade secrets contained within their response. The Government will notbe liable for or suffer any consequential damages for any proprietary information notproperly marked and clearly identified. Proprietary information received in response to this sources sought will be safeguarded and handled in accordance with the TradeSecrets Act (18 U.S.C. 1905). No determination as to the viability of this potentialrequirement has been made at this point and there is currently no solicitation for thiseffort. By responding to this market research you provide the Government permission to shareyour submitted capabilities and contract information with other Governmentorganizations in relationship to similar requirements for market research purposes.
