Description

This notice is issued by the Department of the Navy, Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), on behalf of the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems Undersea Systems directorate (PEO IWS 6.0). The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to award a sole source modification to contract N00024-18-C-5216 with Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation of Charlottesville, Viginia for an increase in the engineering services in support of Navy Electronic Chart Display and Information System (ECDIS). The planned contract modification will provide for continued development, intergration, test and maintenance of the Navy ECDIS software. The estimated period of performance for this effort will be 12 months. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this sole source modification with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 (a)(2) (iii)(B). This notice is shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to solicit contractual offers or award contracts. The Government is not soliciting, nor will it accept, proposals as a result of this notice. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any questions submitted or information provided as a result of this notice. This is not a solicitation or a promise to issue a solicitation, and this information is subject to modification and in no way binds the Government to award a contract. Responses to this notice must be received by 15:00 EST on 25 January 2022. Responses shall be submitted via email to franklin.b.wood4.civ@us.navy.mil�and camille.t.onate.civ@navy.mil, and reference solicitation number N0002422R5216.
