Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice. The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Southeast Area (SEA), Southern Horticulture Research Unit has a requirement to Clean Metal Roof on Building 38. This project is located at 810 Hwy 26W, Poplarville, MS 39470 to include: All equipment, materials, labor and hardware to clean the standing seam metal roof on Building 38 (approximately 32,000 SF) and remove all dirt, dust, mold, and mildew from its surface without the use of high-pressure sprayers. USDA ARS SEA intends to issue a Request for Quote for a firm fixed priced construction purchase order. The solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238160 with a sizestandard of $16.5 M. Contractors shall not directly contact the facility to discuss this requirement. The magnitude of the project is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000. During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions. A site visit can be scheduled by contacting Mr. Ray Morris at ray.morris@usda.gov or (601) 916-7282. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does notconstitute the Request for Quotes (RFQ). The Government anticipates issuing an RFQ for this requirement around January 27, 2022. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for these services. The statement of work is attached to this notice for information only. The full RFQ, applicableprovisions/clauses, wage rates, etc. will be posted when the full RFQ solicitation is released.
