- Amendment 02- FA500022Q0011 Interior Painting Building 714- JBER-R, AK 1. The purpose of amendment 02 of solicitation is to provide an update to an organized Site Visit scheduled for 20 Jan 2022 at 13:30 PM AKST. There will not be another site visit scheduled unless the Government decides another site visit is needed.� 2. All contractors, including those that have access to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER-R), wishing to participate in the site visit shall provide the following information for individuals attending. No more than one individual per contractor SAMPLE Company Member 1: Name, Phone, Email, Company Name Affiliation Provide the information to 673 CONS 19 Jan 2022 NLT 14:00 PM AKST. Please provide the information, via email, to the following address: cassandra.woodard@us.af.mil, anna_maria.smith@us.af.mil Please report to the Ft. Richardson Visitor's Center gate to obtain a visitor pass, if needed. Allow for some delay while obtaining the pass. The following information will be required when getting your pass: License, Registration, Proof of insurance. (c) Participants will meet at bldg. 714 Chapel Activities Services, located off Richardson Dr, 1st St inside the bldg on JBER-R, AK 3.�� �Submitted questions are due 25 Jan 2022, No Later Than (NLT) 14:00 PM AKST. 4.�� �Answers to submitted questions will be provided 26 Jan 2022, NLT 15:00 PM AKST. 5.�� �Due date and time for quotes extended to 31 Jan 2022, NLT 10:00 AM AKST. 6.�� �FAR 36.204 Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects. Advance notices and solicitations shall state the magnitude of the requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range. In no event shall the statement of magnitude disclose the Government's estimate. Therefore, the estimated price should be described in terms of one of the following price ranges:(a) Less than$25,000. JBER Installation Has A Mandatory COVID Policy This applies to personnel who live, work and recreate on JBER as well as visitors to the installation.� Mask Wear - Based off the substantial or high community transmission rate within our local area DoD requires all Service Members, Federal employees, onsite contractor employees, and visitors, regardless of vaccination status, to wear a mask in an indoor setting on the installation and other facilities, owned, leased or otherwise controlled by DoD (reference q).� Per references (f), (g), and (q), exceptions are limited to: inside private dwellings, while driving in vehicles, if an individual is the lone operator or if all occupants in the vehicle are members of the same family group,�when an individual is in his or her own office alone with a closed door or alone with an open door and sixfeet physical distancing is maintained,�when eating or drinking,�those with a medical exemption, when actively exercising indoors and established mitigation controls are followed,�when necessary to reasonably accommodate a religious belief,�when wear interferes with use of personal protective, oxygen, or chemical equipment required for the performance of duties,�when clear or unrestricted visualization of verbal communication is essential to safe and effective military operations,�while operating machinery, if mask wear impairs safe operation ( e.g., impairing vision of an operator who requires glasses to drive by fogging the lenses),�when using equipment, including musical equipment, to perform duties and the equipment cannot be operated when wearing a mask,�when the mask is required to be lowered briefly for identification or security purposes, or�if mask wear otherwise interferes in the performance of military duties. In all cases, once the situation, impairment or interference ceases, personnel will immediately don their mask. Non-compliance may result in disciplinary or debarment action. In addition to the above, all personnel on JBER regardless of vaccination status are required to wear a mask�outdoors on JBER in the following cases: when directed by a commander; when experiencing symptoms consistent with COVID-19; and when required by other federal, state, local, tribal, or territorial laws, rules, and regulations, including local business and workplace guidance.� 7. The purpose of this amendment is to extend the due date and time for questions to be submitted to 20 January 2022, No Later Than (NLT) 15:00 PM AKST. 2. Provide answers to submitted questions on 21 January 2022, NLT 13:00 PM AKST. 3. Extend the due date and time for quotes to 27 January 2022, NLT 14:00 PM AKST. 4. Should you need further assistance, please contact Cassandra Woodard at cassandra.woodard@us.af.mil and Anna Maria Smith at anna_maria.smith@us.af.mil ___________________________________________ Paint Interior Building 714- Project consist of painting the interior of building 714 - JBER-R, AK. Paint used�will be a cream white color. Preparations will include moving items as needed to paint wall surfaces, prep�existing�walls with spackle and caulking, spot prime repairs, and apply finish coats of paint to the existing walls. Inaccordance with (IAW) the Statement of Work (SOW) dated 15 November 2021. The Contractor shall furnish�all design, plant, labor, equipment, supplies, materials, appliances and transportation to perform all work in�accordance with (IAW) the Statement of Work (SOW) and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract.�Contractor shall limit the work to he areas indicated by the government. The contractor shall make every effort�not to disturb or obstruct portions of the facilities still occupied by the government. Contractor shall coordinate�and schedule work with the 673 CES/CENMP office prior to the start of any operation. Contractor shall dispose�of all construction debris off base at an approved disposal facility. The main entry to the facility shall be�maintained at all time during the construction project. Contractor to maintain vigilance for life safety of facility�users entering and leaving the facility by posting signs, barriers for safety. Contractor shall make every effort to�secure the work site, allowing only authorized personnel to enter the work site. The contractor shall protect the�site from damage from weather, vandalism, and/ or theft. The contractor shall be responsible to repair any and�all damage incurred to existing Real Property/Grounds due to poor workmanship at no cost to the government. Contractor shall not park or drive on sidewalk or grassy/snowy areas. Damage incurred shall be repaired at no�cost to the government. The contractor shall be responsible for compliance with OSHA and AFOSH standards.�The contractor shall maintain a clean and debris free site at all times. The contractor shall keep driveways and�entrances into and around the work site clear at all times. The contractor shall not use driveways or entrances as�employee parking or storage of materials unless otherwise stated. The contractor shall minimize storage of�materials and equipment on site. Contractor staging areas to be identified by building occupants. Note: Review the entire SOW for this requirement. In accordance with FAR 36.204(a) Magnitude on Construction Projects, the price range of this project is Less than $25,000.
