- Description
- Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and other resources to complete the construction of Gregory Substation, Stage 06 in South Dakota. The principal components of the work involve sitework; demolition; earthwork; chain-link fence, gravel surfacing, riprap, an oil containment structure, and seeding; providing concrete foundations; providing steel structures; installing Government-Furnished equipment including power circuit breakers, voltage regulators, disconnecting switches, coupling capacitor voltage transformers, voltage transformers, and, current transformers; providing station battery systems, switchboard sections, high voltage bus, grounding, conduit, cable trench, surge arrester, switches, and control cable; distribution panels; miscellaneous electrical; communication facilities; and constructing a site-built service building complete with electrical, security, and mechanical systems. The estimated construction magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. All work is to be completed within 360 days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. The NAICS Code for this project is 237130 with a Small Business Size Standard of $39.5 Million. All responsible small business concerns may submit a bid which shall be considered by this Agency. This solicitation will be issued on or about February 8, 2022 and the projected bid opening date is March 10, 2022.
